The annual shareholder meeting for 2011 will be held on 23 April, 2011.

Sea Minh Hai completed its audited Financial Report for 2010 at the end of March, 2011.

With sympathy Sea Minh Hai today have made a small donation of USD 5,000 for the relief fund through VN VASEP to help the people of Japan in the affected region who are still in the greatest hardship.
As we all know, the great 9 magnitude quake hit North East Japan on March 11 accompanied with a huge tsunami and a series of aftershocks together with the nuclear reactors in danger of melting down put Japan in a grave sitution that described by Prime Minister Kan as "the most severe crisis since World War II".
Sea Minh Hai has announced its first dividend istribution for the year 2010 on Nov. 22, 2010 as can be seen at this link.
It is known that a fund of 7.5% of charter capital will be distributed this time. The shareholders list will be based on the list at Dec 15, 2010, and dividend can be received from Dec. 17 to Dec 31, 2010.
To reply to the call to support people living in the Central Provinces under the devastation of the recent floods, all of Sea Minh Hai's workers and staff members have supported with their one day salary to the fund to help the people who are still in the worst living conditions.
IMF data shows that in 2010 China will take the world number 2 position in world economy of Japan in 2009. However it is much less lower as compared to USA, the current No. 1 in world economy (see picture), and if we consider per capita income, China is the lowest among 3 super economic powers (in 2009 per capita income of USA is USD 42,240, Japan is USD37,800 while China is only USD 3,600).
