As infomed to all of company shareholders, this morning April 12, 2013 the General Shareholders Meeting has been held at the Meeting Room of the Bac Lieu Province People Committee's Guest House.
Besides 32 shareholders who own (or being authorized by shareholders) 81,62% of a total copany shares, one can see many guests from Province officials, bank's officials and Kim Eng senior officials, the consultant company to help for a schedule to raise the charter capital from 81 VN Billion dong to 121 billion dong.

Further to the final POR 6 rates for VN shippers issued on, a memo issdued on Nov 5, 2012 with revised rate for Minh Phu as 0.53% instead of 1.27% it due to DOC mistakes.
This will all affect to other separate-rate companies, now the rate is at 0.88% intead of 1.15%. This change will be effective since it is published in th e Federal Registrar. See (1) (2).
Well, FDA requires that new food facilities have to register, and for the ones which are already in operation, their owners have to renew the facilities once every 2 years (on the even year), starting from now on (2012).
The official time for facility renewal with FDA this year is today Oct. 22, 2012, starting from 12.01 AM.
This is a little later than the expected date fixed for the first time this new rule applied.
Just for the industry understand the rule, a FAQ has been prepared and posted on FDA website (http://www.fda.gov/Food/FoodSafety/FSMA/ucm314178.htm#new). For facilities already registered additional information is needed, such as email of the facility head, the US agent, his guarantee that the FDA can inspect his / her facility should it be necessary as decided by FDA.
On October 8th, 2012 Sea Minh Hai announces to the company shareholders the 1st 2012 profit distribution schedule.
This time a 10% of share-face value (VND 1000 per share) is paid to shareholders who are on shareholder list fixed on Nov. 19, 2012, and dividend will be paid from Oct 22, 2012 to Nov 16, 2012 latest.
Further to the charter capital raising plan already posted in SMH website, today Sea Minh Hai has issued an announcement of its plan to offer shares to the public (2,500,000 shares issued publicly, of this 1,100,000 shares as bonus shares given to its current shareholders, and the other 1,400,000 shares will be sold to its current shareholders).
The plan set the registration time to buy/pay for the shares is from Oct 22, 2012 to Dec. 17, 2012. For current owners who would like to sell/ buy the rights to purchase new shares, he should complete it from Oct 22, 2012 to Nov. 16, 2012.
SMH has today Oct. 2, 2012 received official decision from SSC to approve the company plan to raise the charter capital from VND 56 billion to VND 81 billion.
